B. Braun and PC Pharma unite to preserve lives Constantly striving to better the living standards and options available to dialysis patients in Sri Lanka, PC Pharma - a fully owned subsidiary of PCH Holdings Pvt Ltd recently went the extra mile aiming to provide the best range of treatment available in dialysis treatment technology to Sri Lanka. Commenting on the agreement with B. Braun, Mr. S.H.M Rishan Chairman of PCH Group said that this is the first time that PC Pharma has signed up with a company for the provision of the complete range of hemodialysis treatment. “In business ethical behavior is what sets a company apart from the competition. We have always strived to maintain stringent standards within our companies and believe that our partners too are of the highest quality. Through our partnership with B. Braun, we plan to expand the treatments available to not only the dialysis patients within Colombo, but also the patients from the suburbs and rural areas. Unlike other industries, we deal with lives.” Speaking on the need for awareness within the hemodialysis treatment community, Mr. Dilshard Ikram, General Manager PC Pharma stated that they believe knowledge is key. “Within Colombo and the suburbs, the treatment is not only easier to obtain but knowledge on options that are available is higher. Patients coming in from more rural areas not only find it harder to obtain treatment, but also in certain extreme instances even have no option but to give up on receiving treatment and thereby give up on their lives. Our aim is to prevent this from happening. We want our customers to have the best possible treatment and the best standards possible. Through our partnership with B. Braun, we believe this can, not only be achieved but that in the future the growth and dispersion of dialysis treatment will be made available to rural areas as well as cities. Our end goal as partners is to save lives.” |
